Anyone have any problems with that program?

It occurs to me that often the version of a product that can be
purchased and the version of the product that is actually needed are
not one and the same. Check for updates.

I just bought it last week, and it runs perfectly on OS X 10.2.6 (GHz
PowerBook). I've already converted a giga file and a couple of
SampleCell banks. Planning to run some of my classic E-mu CD-ROMs
through it soon.

One thing I don't like about the UI, however: when it starts a large
conversion, it just throws up an empty white box with no clue that
it's working (cursor hourglass, progress bar, etc.). So it appears to
have crashed, but really hasn't.

And just to be sure- The installer gives you the OS 9 version, with
another .sit inside that containing the OS X version. I have no idea
why, but it can be confusing.

This is strange because you should have 3 progress bars and the name
of the current item being converted. It works perfectly on my Mac
OSX 10.2 and nobody else has ever reported that problem so far.
If anyone on this list has the same problem, please send me a private
mail to support@...

Simply because there was a bug in the third party Mac Installer that
I use. CDXtract OSX is an application package as recommended
by Apple. Unfortunately the Mac Installer was not compatible with
the Application packages that's why I used that workaround.
They have finally fixed the problem a couple of days ago, so the
next update won't have any more archive in it.

Hi all
Can anyone tell me if CD Extract Ver 4 converts Xfade and
articulation info when converting from Gigasamples to ESX format..?
Thanks
