Yeah. Theres a bug in the older version of the PCI Bridge in use that does
this. There may be a workaround but don't hold your breath for a fix any time
soon...

Look at the main PCI chip (from memory 7146?) if its the 'A' version is the
RevB AW, else its the earlier one and you're SOL.

I missed the beginning of the thread. Is the distortion you're hearing the
creeping digital clip sound?
