I *hope* not! Previously Zips have had various horrendous catastrophic data
loss failures (I've had to help pick up the pieces from a few acquaintances
who've had their backup decimated) Personally, I wouldn't touch one unless it
was the last resort. These days CD's are cheaper, read and write faster and
the media's cheaper. The only benefit of zip AFAICT is that the media's in a
placcy caddy and hence better protected.

Same as any audio - depends on the sample rate etc...

In my personal opinion, no, but make your own mind up. Research, read google
and search for stories from users of all backup methods...
