Sample libraries are forever - you can't resell the license. So
without commenting on which library is better (I haven't heard the
Wizoo library), I'd recommend that you put that and $171 on opposite
sides of a scale.

It's pretty obvious which side I think is going to sink!

Hi Nick

Thanks for replying, however your comments are a little too criptic
for me. I'm not sure what all this means. What are the license issues
you refer to?

Thanks

I have to agree with Nick. I'd go for the Garritan Light. I don't
know anything about the Claudius Bruese Strings...but nothing I've ever
heard from wizoo sounds is of the calibre of Garritan.

my 2 cents
julie

Sample licenses always forbid reselling the library, so you're stuck
with your investment forever. I didn't mean to imply that the
Garritan library is better, because I haven't heard the two. All I'm
saying is that $171 (the difference in price between the two) is a
small enough amount that I wouldn't factor it in my decision unless
the two products are extremely close. It's not like buying a rack
synth that you can sell when you get tired of it.

Just to clarify: you may well be right that the Garritan library is
better, or you may not; I just don't know. My post was a little
ambiguous, but I'd never intentionally recommend one product over
another without having heard them both!
