Breakz from the Nu Skool

Breakz from the Nu Skool

2003-06-27 by Ned Bouhalassa

I just picked up the AKAI version of BT's Breakz from the Nu Skool. It's a
m a z i n g. BT is a true studio magician. Extremely useful stuff, right up
there with the best drum loops from Spectrasonics and AMG. If you're in the
need for some inspiring beats, don't hesitate!

The only thing that's missing to make this perfect is that the loops are
not ReCycled (Rex). I suppose I can always use PHATmatik... ;-)

Hey Ned,

I've had this disc for a while in Wav format and i agree, it is one
hell of a library :-) Really top quality stuff. It's just about the only
loop CD i have ever bought where i like e v e r y t h i n g. There
really is no duff material at all.

I've got just about the entire CD rex'd and added into my EXS
library. It works great for cutting up material on the fly :-)

What's the difference between the audio and akai versions of this?
Since they are just loops, why would the mapping make much of a
difference, ie: a 100 dollar difference?

thx,

Mike
