Anyone know where I can find a creditable steel drum sample set?  Thanks

Click on percussion, of course.

It's in Giga format, but you can open it in EXS no problem.

this is a bit of a long shot, does anyone know of any free steel drum 
samples
for EXS or GIGA or SF2 that are downloadable on the net?

I vaguely remember there being some at Worra'splace the GIGA resource but 
that doesn't appear to be up at the moment.

any ideas?

Hi Pete,
They were at Worra's place...I also bought some from Sweetwater...like 
25 dollars or something.  they were Kurzweil but Translator converted 
them.   As I recall the Kurzweil drums were a little better.

thanks julie. much appreciated info.

I eventually found some GIGA samples on a library called X - Sample
which converted fine and were perfect for the job.
