It's a little pricey, but honestly, the quality of this library makes it 
worth every penny.    Consider it a tax writeoff!

Yep. Way overpriced. right. A dozen or two years ago this extravagant price
point would get you a Prophet 5.

I have the dubious distinction of being a former synclavier pilot. I
understand   the small county's gross national product turned
obsolescence. At some point It's better to quadrouple your local
quartet ,and use the crap akai sounds  for composing. As brilliant an
idea as symphony in the box is, it shouldnt cost as much as a
symphony. It won't sound as good as a real symphony.
