Great thread! I have/had the same problem years ago and since then, I've had a little fan placed in my rack blowing on the 2101's rear to "band-aid" this issue. I should have looked into the voltage regulators instead I guess! Can you tell me exactly which components are these voltage regulators? I'm looking at the unit now and I'm thinking they might be U93,U91 and U92. They are on the far left corner, clamped down, indirectly attached to the heat sink. Am I correct?
