Re: [gsp-2101] 2101 Crash!

Step 1: Try a Factory Reset:
  1. Power off your 2101
  2. Press and hold function (access) key [1] while powering on your 2101
  3. Wait until the asterisk * appears in the top-left corner of the display
  4. Release function key [1]
  5. Press the Program Up button to complete the Factory Reset
Step 2: Buy a new battery
The battery is an Eveready CR 2032 or equivalent
Step 3: Upgrade your EPROMs to version 3.00.00:
Buy your upgrade EPROMs from Function 7 Engineering so you get a free copy of MIDIWIzard with your new chips:
With MIDIWizard, you can save all those valuable user programs you've spent years tweaking and restore them the next time you have a crash.
Step 4: If all else fails, contact Function 7 or DigiTech and send your unit back to them for repair.
They still repair 2101s for a very reasonable price, and they have a quick turnaround.
Step 5: Keep in touch with your brothers who use 2101s.
