Step 1: Try a Factory Reset:
- Power off your 2101
- Press and hold function (access) key [1] while powering on your 2101
- Wait until the asterisk * appears in the top-left corner of the display
- Release function key [1]
- Press the Program Up button to complete the Factory Reset
Step 2: Buy a new battery
The
battery is an Eveready CR 2032 or equivalent
Step 3: Upgrade your EPROMs to version
3.00.00:

Step 4: If all else fails, contact Function 7 or
DigiTech and send your unit back to them for repair.
They still repair 2101s for a very reasonable price, and
they have a quick turnaround.
Step 5: Keep in touch with your brothers who use
2101s.
