Is it a Ned Beaty squeal or microphinic tube squeal?
I think this question has been through here before. The answer escapes me.
I would swop the tubes first to rule that out then go to the next thing if it persist.

I'm fairly new to the 2101 and only bought it a few weeks ago, but I'm
getting a nasty high pitched squeal and random noise with almost every
patch I use, particularly the high gain patches, both user and
factory...I' ve got a 2101 Studio with added PPC210 and artist 3.00
upgrade...any ideas? It sounds horrible and is making it unusable.
