I'm fairly new to the 2101 and only bought it a few weeks ago, but I'm getting a nasty high pitched squeal and random noise with almost every patch I use, particularly the high gain patches, both user and factory...I've got a 2101 Studio with added PPC210 and artist 3.00 upgrade...any ideas? It sounds horrible and is making it unusable. Shannon

I can try that. What size hex wrench do I need to remove the screws on
the front panel? I've got a full set of SAE and Metric hex wrenches
and none fit...argh

Ned Beaty and his purdy mouth type of squeal...it's bad...I swapped
the tubes for brand new ones that I tested out today and it's still
there. The previous owner had disconnected the front input jack and
the original rear jack and added a new, metal rear input jack...I'm
pretty frustrated...I played 3 other 2101's at a jam this past weekend
and none had these issues...I emailed the previous owner...
Any idea who could repair this? We have a great local electronics
repair guy / tube amp repair guy, but it should probably go back to
Digitech eh? I'm bleeding money on this at this point.

I shipped it to the guys at Digitech this morning...I didn't really feel like breaking out the soldering iron to fix someone else's mistake...thanks for the help Glen.
