RE: MIDIWizard Software

2007-05-27 by Graham Pearson

Clayton:
Currently, MIDIWizard interfaces with the following devices:
DigiTech GSP-2101
DigiTech Studio Vocalist
ADA MP-1
Tech21 SansAmp PSA-1
Lexicon MPX-1
Hammond XK-3
Our software is distributed as an executable file (EXE), several general-purpose dynamic link libraries (DLLs), and one or more device-specific DLLs. For each of the above devices, you need the corresponding device-specific DLL file. The EXE and the other general purpose DLLs are the same, no matter how many device-specific DLLs you install. We carefully designed the EXE and all DLLs to operate under any version of Windows 98 or later, so you don't need to update your MIDIWizard software if you install a new version of Windows.
We've been distributing free copies of MIDIWizard for about 4 years now. As of today (May 27, 2007) there are 244 registered copies of the GSP-2101 interface out there. With the release of version 1.51, we've decided to ask for a contribution of $33 for each of the device interfaces. Of course, if you are interested in several device interfaces, we can cut you a deal. This contribution entitles you to receive future updates for free.
The reason for asking for a contribution is that we intend to establish a web site for product support and updates. So far, only four people have sent us a donation, so we're not exactly getting rich. Perhaps some of you out there are copying our software, and that's just fine. But if you find MIDIWizard useful, as I know many of you do from the number of support questions I answer, I hope you'd feel like sending us a dollar or two just so we can offset the cost of developing the web site.
To everyone, thanks for reading this long post.
Graham

Subject: [gsp-2101] Midiwizard help!!!

I read somewhere that the Midiwizard program can be used with the ADA
MP-1 and also the Lexicon MPX-1. Does anyone out there know how to
make it work with the MP-1? I would love to be able to use this with
my MP-1's. If it works even half as good with an MP-1 as it does with
the GSP2101, I will be in total MIDI heaven. If you're reading this
Graham, please let me know what's up. Thanks.
