I would love to get a J-12. Two pedals would solve a lot of problems.
But the problem is not with me understanding the change in values
corresponding to the travel of the pedal. I would rather have 0 at
the bottom and 127 at the top, but my pedal won't calibrate that
way. It could be the processor, it could be the pedal, but I'm
assuming it's the pedal and so I'd like to know if there's anything I
can look at in terms of cleaning or self-maintenance to troubleshoot.

half way the end would still be 127. I have no idea's at this time to
remedy this. You could try a J-12 controller with two pedals and
reverse program them????
