That 'Cannon Fire 'sound is notorious with some of the original PPC-210 Cards. On the programs that are giving you a problem, check the 'ATTN' on your Noise Gate...you get a load of white noise if it's set too low. Also, try a Factory reset and see if that makes the problem go away.
If not, the you may have a few things wrong and best to bring it to a qualified repairman.

Could be a bad capacitor. Take a close look at the caps, make sure none of them are swelling.

Aaaarrgh!!!! Does anyone know what could be causing my problems... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TJn6dvdv6ys.
When I change the program there is occasionally a loud bang but not always. Sometimes GSP recognizes the PPC 210, sometimes don't?!
Sometimes a sound gets through and sometimes don't. The battery is brand new, inside nothing corroded.
Analogue part of GSP seems to be OK...
However I can't do gigs with it anymore! Before I carry it to the service (again !!!) I would like some advice from you.
Best regards, MarkoMessage
