The best first step you can take is to upgrade
your EPROM chips to version 3.00.00. These are occasionally available on
eBay and add functionality to your 2101 which is well worth having, such as
additional factory algorithms and programs, a bug-free operating system, and
increased MIDI capabilities.
Also, make sure your 2101 has a 20 MHz clock
rate. During power-up, your 2101 displays the software version (1.0.1 in
your case). If this software version is followed by a lower-case letter a,
you have the 20 MHz clock. If not, that's another upgrade worth
considering.
After that, I'd get used to programming your 2101
before deciding that a PPC-210 is a "must-have". I have several 2101s,
some with and some without the PPC-2101, and personally I don't think the
additional functionality with the PPC-210 is worth the sticker price, which is
typically $150.
My 2 cents. I hope it helps.

I've been told that they aren't producing them anymore but I'm hoping someone has one laying around in a closet or something.
I'm also looking for a left end cap for the FC-1 as well.
Thanks and just email me if you happen to find either one of these items.
