I have three Gsp 2101's. On one I installed
a PPC-210 Card and the other 2 , The Artist and the Artist Pro came with factory
Installed 210 cards. Two of them I purchased brand new in the 90's and one I
purchased on ebay about 5 years ago.
They all function beautifully. The advice
you received to upgrade your software to 3.00.00 is sound. As a matter of fact,
I don't believe the PPC-210 Card will even function with less then 2.00.00 . You
can still find the up grade chips on ebay for a decent price.
PPC-210 cards are pretty expensive. They
are worth it if you want seamless program changes and to create huge dual S Disc
algorithms. I play guitar for a living and really love the seamless changing
capabilities of my 2101's.
The problem is the price of the PPC-210
Card... It's upwards of $200.00 these days and you may be better off looking on
ebay for a 2101 that already has the card installed. You can usually get the
whole package for under $300.00.
Then just sell the 2101 you already have to
defray the cost.
If you want to pursue a 210 card, Dieter
comes upon them from time to time and he'll put you on a contact list. When one
becomes available he'll e-mail you. But I believe it's a first come first serve
basis so you'd have to move fast. They are pretty hard to come by these
days.
I do have a left end cap for a Control
One that I can sell you. It's never been used. Contact me if your interested.

I've been told that they aren't producing them anymore but I'm hoping someone has one laying around in a closet or something.
I'm also looking for a left end cap for the FC-1 as well.
Thanks and just email me if you happen to find either one of these items.
