I get the same problem. It's a random thing, kind of hard to track down. I know there is one certain program of mine that causes a crash reliably, where I have the flange depth set to zero for a strange tunnel effect. I only have to scroll past it with the wheel to make it crash. Sometimes when I power up the leds are flickering, sometimes not. Prolly need to send it in for a tune up. -----Original Message----- From: Sean Roberts [mailto:krazydog@...] Sent: Saturday, September 28, 2002 5:07 PM To: gsp-2101@yahoogroups.com Subject: [gsp-2101] 2101 Freakin out Guys my 2101 has been crashing a lot more lately. You know, the scrambled text, leaving it totally inoperable. Sometimes I can get it back but sometimes I need to give it a hard reset. It could possibly be heat related, last night it went nuts on the last song of the set (thank God) After having it cool down on break it seemed fine. I had to reset the midi though. Could this be a battery issue? I've never changed the battery & have had the unit for Hmm well since they first came out. (6-8yrs?) It's been well used, average 8-12 hours/week since I bought it. I'm just not sure it's a battery thing? These crashes have been getting progressively worse over the last 1-2 years. Before that it was solid as a rock & it's been in the same rack config the whole time. If it's heat related I'm just wondering why there was never a problem before? The only time it would crash before was from bad electric in the venues. Any help is greatly appreciated!
