Here's a thought.
It's been a while since I've used Cakewalk, but maybe you
have to set-up the input and output settings within Cakewalk itself as
well. This will be the first time in about 2 years that I've fired up Cakewalk.
;0) (great App. I just haven't used it in a long while that's
all.)
Just double check your settings in the TOOLS menu. MIDI
Devices, Hardware Devices and Global Options. I don't know what the setting are
that would work for you, but maybe something will stand out as being
wrong.
And about that guy's earlier post of not ever seeing Red &
White MIDI plug-ends, well..., I have. In fact I'm looking at them
right now. They work ;o) One problem though. My odd coloured ends
are not part of my gameport/MIDI adapter cable. They are just 6ft MIDI patch
cables. So I can't tell you what RED or WHITE represents.
