RE: [gsp-2101] using 2101 in effects loop?

2001-04-29 by Chris Sherwood

Oh wait, maybe I've got the setting incorrect and it should be 'bypass'.
Either way, I am sure that this is the setting that a) the owners manual
mentioned and b) the one that I successfully use for that purpose, using
the EFX portion of the GSP2101 as a studio effect unit without using the
distortion section.

[] Thanks for the info, Chris. I started going thru my patches
[] and all of the
[] presets seem to already be set to NO SUMM.
[]
[] Can you, or anyone else, explain exactly what this is doing
[] to the unit? I
[] am getting ready to set it up in the effects loop for the
[] first time, so
[] we'll test it out and see. But I think that when I am
[] playing clean guitar
[] thru the amp, and I change to one of the distorted presets
[] on the 2101, the
[] distortion will still come thru, right?
