Re: 2101: 2101 Vs. 2112

2001-07-03 by Aaron

I have had the 2101 for many years now. I saw a killer deal in the paper
one day last year. A 2120 with the FC for $500. I went and picked it up
immediately. I was SO excited. Over the next 3 days I played with it and
just never liked it. The sounds sounded too harsh and metallic and
over-processed. I only messed with the presets. I sold it on ebay the
next day. I kept A/B'ing the two and everytime I came back to the 2101, it
sounded like a dream compared to the 2120.

My lesson learned: always listen before you buy. Newer is not necessarily
better.

My 2 cents.
