I remember reading that if your PPC-210 has an original S-Disc, you won't have the "cannon" problem whether your motherboard has the original S-Disc or the S-Disc-II. The problem only occurs if the PPC- 210 has the S-Disc-II AND the motherboard has the original S-Disc. So people in your situation can simply swap the two chips so that the S- Disc-II is on the motherboard and the original S-Disc is on the PPC- 210. --- In gsp-2101@yahoogroups.com, "newtlink" <newtlink@y...> wrote: > > to clarifiy, i **already** have the PPC-210 in my 2101.. > > i would like to swap out the *actual* S-Disc processor that is on my > motherboard to match the S-Disc-II that is in my PPC-210.. to prevent > any future problems, like the "sonic boom", or patch "popping" sound > that had happened with mis-matched S-Discs.. > > > thanks, > Jim. > > anyone have an "LE" for sale??
