to clarifiy, i **already** have the PPC-210 in my 2101..

i would like to swap out the *actual* S-Disc processor that is on my
motherboard to match the S-Disc-II that is in my PPC-210.. to prevent
any future problems, like the "sonic boom", or patch "popping" sound
that had happened with mis-matched S-Discs..

thanks,
Jim.

anyone have an "LE" for sale??

I have found the web site of Dieter....but I see that Digitech had a
probleme with him listing the software upgrades for free
does Digitech provide those upgrades for free ? ..if yes ...it was stupid of
them to have Dieter remove them as he is a very keen Digiteck fan !!!!
or they charge for it ... and then it is a shame on them as this equipement
is obsolete according to their own web site !!!

Digitech welcome to reply to me...vvdd at mweb.co.za...

vick

I remember reading that if your PPC-210 has an original S-Disc, you
won't have the "cannon" problem whether your motherboard has the
original S-Disc or the S-Disc-II. The problem only occurs if the PPC-
210 has the S-Disc-II AND the motherboard has the original S-Disc. So
people in your situation can simply swap the two chips so that the S-
Disc-II is on the motherboard and the original S-Disc is on the PPC-
210.

Move to quarantaine
