Check that plug! it doesn't have 5
poles!
It has 6 poles!
5 pins inside and 1 metal sleeve = 6
poles!!!! NOT 5 !!!!!
the sleeveis connected to GND and MUST be connected
to the screen of the cable!

Yes, you MUST use a "6 pole DIN cable with screen" not a "5 pole DIN cable".
the schreen is the sleeve of the cable ans insures, that no noise (light
switching pulses on stage aso.) feed into the data lines.
