Re: [gsp-2101] Programming the WAH with the Control One

2005-01-05 by Jeff Rankin

Thanks Marko. I will try that. do you know how to config the 2101 to have the expression work when you add the traditional wah to the algorithm. That is where I am running into difficulties is with getting the wah to work on the control one expression pedal.

Thanks,

Jeff

In order to read "0" when pedal down and "127" when
the pedal is up, you must use a little trick: when
calibrating the pedal, don't push/pull the pedal all
the way, but leave just a little space in both
positions.

This trick is especially necessary if you want wah to
sound like "normal wah". To simulate the knee that
"normal wah" have you should minimize the path from
closed to opened pedal.

Note that short path of the pedal probably won't sound
good on other patches, so calibrating an external
pedal this way might be a good idea...

...or even better idea: use Crybaby...
