Recently had a scratchy pot (output knob) driving me crazy. I picked up
a can of DetoxIT D5 by Caig laboratories. Opened the 2101 up and
sprayed a little in the pot, worked back and fourth a few times and it
works like new since. It has been almost 2 months without recurrence.
Simple solution for anyone with similar problems. Also noticed battery
getting some corrosion. Installed new battery and sprayed the terminal
block with a little DeoxIT for corrosion resistance. Can be used on
input and cord jacks for less resistance and greater connections.
P.S. When I replaced battery within 30 seconds or so, I didn't lose any
of my stored data (presets). Anyway just sharing a good experience of a
product that works!
