My entire unit went dark a few months ago. Had a local tech put a new transformer in for $100. If I’d have known it was the transformer I’d have done it myself as they’re available on digitech’;s website for like $30. Yours sounds like something else. A good repair tech will fix it reasonably probably.

I had a similar problem 6 months ago. Unfortunately I had to replace a electronic part in the power supply, a voltage regulator near the rear panel. It’s not a big thing but you have to use a soldering iron and it needs some experience to do it right.
Good luck!

Betreff: [gsp-2101] 2101 LCD is
blank, unit is frozen, not responding to buttons
I bought my GSP new back in the mid 90's and have never had much of a
problem with it. Several years ago, I replaced the
tubes and added a
second disc processor. I believe I am running
2.01.01. I do not have
the "artist version/3.0"
Yesterday, when I turned on the power the
following happened:
Initially everything was fine then the lcd started
to dim and went
completely blank. I shut off the power and started
in back up. The
green lcd screen is blank and the program number
is reading 8.8.8.,
the clip is red at 0db, and the input, gain1, eq,
level, ovr, byp are
all red, link and edit are not lit. I have tried
powering up with the
utility bottom pushed in with no success. Also, I
have tried a
factory reset by holding the function 1 button in
while powering up.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
