Friend's 2101 is making squealing sound?

My friend's 2101 stopped working and is only making a squealing sound now. Anybody got any guesses as to what the problem may be?

First, ask your friend to stop squealing and
then, if you can use MIDIWizard to perform a System Backup, send me the System
Backup file.
