2101's voltage change

2101's voltage change

2001-12-01 by lucafeed@tin.it

Another question:
I've been told that inside the 2101 there is a way to change the
voltage at which it works.
There shold be a small resistor near the transfomer.
In the 110 Vac version(Us) it should be in the "110 Vac" position.
There should be a "220 Vac" slot empty: putting the resistor in this
slot should transform the unit from 110 Vac to 220 Vac.
Can anyone confirm ?
Thanks again....and again
Luca

Yes- I can confirm.
The Resistor is an 0 Ohm- dummy- resistor.
So you can use a simple piece of wire. Make sure, that you desolder the old
resistor. There may be only one resistor on the board!

If you have any probs write me again.

Dieter
