It's difficult to find out the right hardware- version.
An exact document will be on my new homepage (under construction)
1. There is a sticker on the right side of the 2101. There you can find out
the manufacturing date. Tell it to me.
2. Look at the board- how many eproms are there?
3. What was the original software version?
4. Original Cycle-frequency of the Z 80- processor.

If you answer that questions we can specify the harware.

Dieter

Hi!

My website isn't online, yet.... a lot of work and litte time... sorry..
have patience...

About the valve- distortion... it's no problem for me to repair it... but
via email it's difficult to explain how to fix the problem... do you know
which hardware-version you've got?... you should first check the heating-
voltage (Vh = 12,6 V DC on pin 4 and 5 of the valves) (or look at the
valves... does the heaters glow red???).... and than... the plate - voltage
(+B = approx. 350 V on C252).... and than...you said no output , if you
switch to ANY(!) valve distortion (clean, dist, sat. tube), right.... then
check the signal on pin 1 of U6 (this is the output of the OP which goes
directly to pin 2 of V1 ... it's the input signal to the valve-
section)..... tell me the results and we can go further.

D.
