voice and drum machine with gsp

anyone got any good ideas as to setting up the gsp to enhance/preamp direct recording of vocals and drums? i have a zoom rhythm trak that sounds great, but i know it could sound better with the right conditioning from the gsp. voice too. running my mic direct to gsp then direct in to microphone jack of laptop. that is what i mean by direct recording. thanks. ryan
