Midi Patch Changing Out of Control!!

Midi Patch Changing Out of Control!!

2003-04-02 by highskoolslut

hi,

i did what was told in my 2101 on the 5th page of the MIDI section to
set certain 2101 patches to send a certain program change out to
another device using my Control One footpedal. This did work.
However, I only needed to have about 3 patches set to a certain
number.  so the first 3 number i have like... patch 1 -> 98  patch 2 -
> 99, etc. BUT! after those three, when i get to like 4, 5, 6
etc...in the menu, they are set by default to 4 -> 4, 5 -> 5, 6 -> 6,
etc.. and now, every single patch i switch to on my 2101 sends a
patch change to my JMP-1 preamp, for every single NUMBER! because it
seems like once i activate the midi patch changing, not only the
numbers i set will switch but all of the numbers now!

How can I prevent this? I only need a few patches to make my other
device switch presets. Your help is much appreciated!

a programable midi patch bay is the only way to really
take control of your effects(or a computer,same
