Re: [gsp-2101] Setup for 2101 & TriaAxis using NoiseGate & Tuner
2003-06-19 by Graham Pearson
Hi Michael:
You need to use one of the following configurations to take
advantage of the GSP-2101's noise gate and tuner: The 2101 noise gate and
tuner are part of the up-front analog section which is bypassed if you input the
signal to the 2101 FX Return rather than input the signal to the 2101
Input.
1) Guitar - 2101 Input
2101 Output - TriAxis FX Return
TriAxis Output - Amp
2) Guitar - 2101 Input
2101 FX Send - TriAxis FX Return
TriAxis Output - 2101 FX Return
2101 Output - Amp
Best Regards,
Graham Pearson

I play a TriAxis and the GSP as a standard setup meaning
Guitar -> TriAxis
TriAxis FX Send -> GSP Return
GSP Out -> TriAxis Return
TriAxis Out -> Amp
, right?!
It works fine!!
The only problem is that the NoiseGate and the tuner won't work that way, same to the Volume Pedal used for Master Volume.
I would "only" need the TriAxis PreAmp and the digital section of the GSP but with the desired Gate, Volume and Tuner functions.
Can anybody help?!www.michaelborchers.net/sb - personalwww.michaelborchers.net/tri - TriAxiswww.michaelborchers.net/rm - Rockmanwww.memoriesfading.de - bandwww.cd-pla.net - cd review community
