Peavey Classic 5050 Stereo Power Amp for Sale
2004-11-06 by Brian Hansen
Since I'm no longer playing in larger venues, but
on a small platform at church, I'm really needing to down-size my gear, not to
mention, my back just can't keep hauling things around like I once was
anymore. I've got the following for sale.
One Peavey Classic 5050 stereo all tube power amp
for sale.
Features:
4 EL84's per side, and 1 12AX7 & 1 12AT7 per
side.
50 watts per channel stereo 100 watts bridged mono.
4, 8, or 16 ohms selectable output stereo or 2, 4, or 8 ohms selectable output bridged mono.
2 line level inputs per side.
separate volume, resonance, and presence controls per side.
separate stand-by switches per side.
adjustable line out controls per side.
quarter inch and XLR line out jacks .per side
it takes up two rack spaces
The unit is in good condition, with the exception of a slightly bent area on one of the rack mounts that happened when I sent it back to Peavey a few years
to have a new output transformer installed. My amp tech has looked it over, and says everything checks out just fine.

This thing works great with the 2101. The
resonance control seems to add that extra bit to the low end. I'm asking
$200.00 plus shipping. I wouldn't be parting with it, but I desperately
need to down-size my gear both in size, as well as wattage. Please
