think Gibson pushed through a constitutional amendment that requires stupid
prices on all of its guitars. Good luck in your search. Have you
considered an Epi Les Paul? I just bought one and I swear you would have a
hard time telling the difference, especially once you distort it (upgrading

I wonder what Gibson would charge for
a guitar that was actually hand made with truly exotic tone wood, given that the
Les Paul is machine made out of mahogany (which in the Pacific Rim is slightly
less common than teak) and goes for several grand.
