3.0 version upgrade failed

3.0 version upgrade failed

2005-03-11 by wizzie1982

Hi,

today, i received my two eproms to upgrade my 2101, and i did exactly
what was said on this site:

http://home.arcor.de/pirat28/sites/gsp2101eprom.htm

but when i switched on my 2101, all the leds in the display were on
and nothing happened... The system could not boot or reset at all...

i have put back the 2.01 eproms again, because i need to play with it
tomorrow, but i hope i can soon upgrade to 3.0

does anyone know a solution to this problem?

thanks in advance!

best regards, Sander

Did you do the factory reset properly after installing the EPROMS?
Your finger has to be pressing and holding function key 1 WHILE
turning on the power.

Yes i did... i push and hold the function 1 key while switching on the
2101, but as soon as i switch it on, all the red leds will light up.
Is this a normal procedure, and if yes... how long wil they be on? and
what do i do next? ;)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
