STeem doesn't run on MacOS though, that's the problem, you end up installing Windows for any easy solution. Maybe SoundDiver or Logic though, since eMagic was bought by Apple a while ago.

Matt ... maybe my idea it's a lot more complicated but ... don't you consider to use de Dr. T's editor software? (you have to run it over an Atari ST simulatros, as Steem, or etc) ... I think is the best way to edit and send/receive patches between a PC and the K5 ...

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
