Thank you all so much for your awesome support regarding my question about tranferring patches to the k5m. I found that the generic Sysex Librarian program for Mac OS worked perfectly for transferring patches to my K5m. Upon enabling TRS & RCV on the K5m, my little usb midi cable light started to blink with activity, and that was my first sign of hope. Then, just loading up the sysex sound files and pushing "play" instantly sent them all to my K5m and watched with joy as all of the patches/banks filled up on my K5m's display panel. Woo Hoo! I now have a fully functional K5m to mess around with!
