Yay I figured it out-display and all of k5 working again! I feel like a horse's petoot. I managed to nick a trace with my screwdriver while prying the battery and desoldering. Got the trace figured out and soldered in a bridge wire and we are back in business! Mo, if you still want me to test that display I am happy to do it :)
