It worked by generating a single cycle waveform using FM synthesis and performing a Fourier analysis on the waveform to generate a harmonic spectrum that could then be transmitted to the K5. It also had functions for creating basic analog type waveforms, saw, pulse, triangle, etc. This being my first post, just like to say hello to everyone and that I'm glad to see this group formed to support the Kawai K5. I still have mine, and it really is an amazing synth.
