K5synth

Hi everyone,

I didn't get any other answers from Kawai of Japan about the ROMs.

I'll probably order 2 chips at Mouser(along with other parts for other
purposes) next week just to see how the flash ROMs behave in the K5.
Then, if things work out well, I'll buy the other chips for you guys
that asked for them.

The ROM is containing the software that the synth runs. ROM V1.3 has
fewer bugs than version 1.0 for example. To know what version you
have, it's telling it on the boot screen of the K5. Replacing it is
simply a matter of removing 4 screws, popping out a chip, placing the
new one in and putting back the screws.
