programmaer for k5

Howdy,

Not being content with my ds -250, i just bought a
K5. where can i obtain an owners manual. Is there an
external programmer available like the roland pg
series units? I hata button menu stuff and prefer the
grab a knob and get results method. thanx

Hey Rig!

Nice to see you around! There is no dedicated hardware controller that I
am aware of. I use a software programmer for my K5. The shaky, flaky
MIDIQuest on the Mac, though there are other options for other platforms
(there is a free one for the Atari, which will run in the freeware Steem
wrapper).

Howdy Scot

Thanx for the info. Do you want to sell the VCS3 back
to me? I miss it REAL bad. I don't think I want to try
programmingthe k5 from the front panel, it loks
tooinvolved. I just got a seiko ds-250 that i'm trying
to find info on. sure miss the vcs3.
Rig

Well Rig, I think I might still need to hang onto the VCS-3...I'm thinking
of having it grafted to my torso so that I am never too far away from it.
Besides, your girl would never stand for the noises...

On the K5: Ditto on the panel, though it isn't actually too bad. It's
the fact that my display is a bit dim that sends me to the editors. Do
you have a manual?

You can find the Atari editor here, along with STEEM to run it on a PC:
http://tamw.atari-users.net/cage_art.htm

But the better bet might be this one:

Right there:

Nope, software editors only. That kind of thing could be built, but
very expensive at the same time.

Maybe a Cakewalk panel could help...

Hi

That sounds very interesting, does it give you anything like the
knobiness of the K5000? Would you be willing to share your
programming efforts. Either as a dump for those with BCR2000s or in
some more generic form for those trying to program other controllers.

Cheers,
Nicolas

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
