Re: Got RC-2 now what?

2003-08-15 by rickeytray

Thanks jonboy,

I didn't have much time to spend with it last night but just now I
tried it and sure 'nuff pressing on one of the patch buttons and the
light goes steady. Yep, different sounds now. Yeah! Ah, simple
pleasures. Am I correct to assume that there is one more bank of 50
patches in one of those downloads? Now I need for one more RC-2 to
surface and I'd be set. I went ahead and snagged the K3M copy from
the dude on eBay, so I'll finally be able to dig in to my K3. I know
it's no Moog, but it's one fine instrument. I can't wait to put it
on some of my new songs I'm recording. My computer here at the house
is running the same software that I upload my multitracks to in the
studio. Once I get everything set, I can just burn a data disk and
do my post production here at the house. I tell you, jonboy, this
has been the realization of a lifelong dream. I've partnered with a
young engineer who really knows what he's doing with the computer
stuff. Just give it a bit more time and there will be some great
music coming outta here. Right now we are just doing other people's
stuff and haven't had enough time for our own. Sort of like the
mechanic who doesn't have time to work on his own car, you know?
Anyway, thanks alot for your help!

Rickey
