Okay, a little closer! I have downloaded a small test utility called MIDIOX and sure enough I can press a key on the K1 and hear the assigned instrument out of th headphones attached to the PC. So, all the hardware is working. The fault must lie in how I have my sequencer software configured. I have been told that the DMX 6Fire wavetable is only useable if I hvae the extension board attached (and I don't); otherwise I will hear nothing (which I am). I therefore need to assign the MS Wavetable but how? How do I tell CuBase to use the MS Wavetable? Equally, how do I then assign a particular instrument from that wavetable onto the mixer channel I wish to record on? --- In kawaisynths@yahoogroups.com, "gazzanewpy" <gazzanewpy@...> wrote: > > I used > http://www.soundonsound.com/sos/1994_articles/jan94/kawaik1sequencing > .html to set up my MULTI A1 for sequencing.
