I tried SoundQuests editor. It is easier to use the built in editor on the
K5. The editors for the Atari are excellent, and free, and it isn't too much
trouble to get an emulator running on your mac or pc. Worth it.

leaves... a bit to be desired. I know that SoundQuest's "MidiQuest"
has a K5 module, don't know how good it is. There's a lesser-known K5
editor, as well, by Terzoid Software called "NoiZe" for Windows. They
have a free 30-day trial that you can try. I rather liked it; I think
it's got a nicer design, although there are a few tricks to it, they
might have been because my K5's got a v1.0 firmware. Still. Sigh.
