Re: kawai q80 disk unavailable error message

2013-03-09 by darkcelebrator

This Q-80 I got was actually a barely used/near mint unit with the original box, manual and power supply. I opened it up and everything was nice and clean. There was no signs of any loose wires or replacement drive from the previous owner. It all appears to be original parts. My next course of action is to either buy a brand of floppies through trial/error, patience and hope one of the brand of floppies I buy works or invest an emulator drive. I'm leaning more towards replacing it with an emulator drive. Thanks for the help!
