On the K5, there is a config menu where you can enable
and disable midi in and out parameters. You can select
if it sends volume, pitch...
Maybe you should try to reset it. Often there's a
reset method, but if it's like the K5, you will need
to disconnect and reconnect the battery to reset it.
The only problem you might encounter is that the
battery is soldered there. Maybe the MIDI cable is not
working fine also.
