K4 Newbie questions

2005-10-11 by Panos Chatzigeorgiadis

Hi all

just got a kawai k4 for cheap and i was wondering if its possible to
restore in anyway the factory presets of the beast and how the hell
to you make it work in 1 channel mode - i mean to make it receive in
1 channel only...hope to get an answer to these asap...

   thanks in advance

Hi Panos:

Kawai still has sounds available download on their website:

http://www.kawaius-tsd.com/pages/downloads.html

Even if you can't "front panel reset" the K4, it's possible the
factory patches are in that download.

Regarding MIDI Single Channel mode - I don't know for sure. Do you
have a copy of the manual? I'm not telling you to RTM, but I was
curious. If you don't, it's available in the file section of this
mailing list.
