clean piano sound

Hi guys/gals-

I'm new to the K4 - got a deal on aused one and love it to death.  
Question though - is it possible to get a sound very much like a 
concert grand and if so, where and how to  I begin to program it to do 
so?

hello nitecruise4,

with a k4 you'll get some quiet nice piano sounds,
but certainly not " a sound very much like a concert grand"
the reason is : good sample banks use big samples and multi-layers structure and then needs a very large amount of memory (for example i have a steinway piano for GarageBand, about 400Mo ...)

here is a patch editor for k4 (PC), but you'll certainly not get "a sound very much like a concert grand"
because good sound banks are using multi-layer structure and large samples, then needs much memory
(for example, a steinway piano for GarageBand is about 400Mo...)
