A new KAWAI R-100 page

A new KAWAI R-100 page

2004-05-05 by sealed

Hi,

I made a new page for KAWAI R-100, a 12-bit drum machine from mid-80s.

The page includes:

* R-100 Information
* R-100 editor for Emagic SoundDiver
* R-100 sound examples

Please visit my site and tell me what you think.

Best,
Sealed

Sealed,

ah, the Kawai R-100 and Korg DS-8 pages are quite interesting! It is
surprising to learn of the R-100 supporting SysEx realtime
modification; quite an accomplishment for a 12-bit drum machine of its
vintage.

The Korg DS-8 was also quite interesting to me, as I once owned a
Yamaha FB-01.

Thank you for posting the update; I'm sure it will be of interest to
Kawai owners.

Regards,
Ben

Thank you very much, choromal.
I'm glad to hear your interest in R-100 and DS-8.
R-100 is in a way limited machine, but still has good features like
realtime SysEx - fortunately my R-100 came with a manual.
I like your FB-01 organ on your page, and today I'm glad to find
your new DX100 songs. I'm interested in the differences in sound
between DX100 and FB-01. It may be possible DS-8 and DX21 have their
own sound, too.
