I follow the evolution of your work, keep on going.
I'm not shure that I understand what happens with the chords mode, 
but what you refer as the new chord mode:

It is for me exactly the same as how it works on my Poly.  I used it a
lot and I love it.  I do a chord in the hold mode and then I go back
to the chords mode (labeled chord memory) and I can play that chord
with a finger in every key, so ?  Is this what do you talking about ?
